We’ll discuss your project and goals with you, and make sure Buildicus is right for you. If your goals are lofty, and you’re not the right fit for Buildicus, we’ll tell you so. Hell, we’ll even recommend a different solution, if we can.
Gather content.
This part’s pretty important. What’s a website with no stuff on it, right?
Once you decide what you want on your site, we need to think about how to logically divide this information into the pages of your site (like, should something go on the homepage, or should it be part of an “about” page).
Don’t worry if this sounds difficult or time-consuming. We can help with decisions here. Deciding which pages and where they go is something we rock at.
Let's talk design.
If blue is your favorite color, this is when you should tell us (clearly we like blue, too). If you’ve already got a logo, let us know. We’ll show you some website examples, and recommend a design that’s right for you.
Call in the designer.
Time to get excited: This is where all the shizz comes together.
We’ll build your site based on the design we’ve agreed on, and will of course add your content and stuff. After a review, we’ll make any changes you want, then activate your site for all the world to see, using your own domain (web address).
New website.
No use having a website if no one knows about it, right? So we’ll let Google know you exist. If you have a physical location, we’ll set up your basic Yelp! and Google+ pages, as they can help people find your new amazing site.
Keep it updated.
A successful website stays current. A lame website doesn’t. And your website is not going to be lame.
Keeping your content up to date is critical, and adding new and fresh content will keep people (and search engines like your buddy Google) coming back for more.
And don’t forget: you need to keep your domain registration information current and paid up so you don’t lose your domain name. Okay? Okay.
Bonus: We'll monitor your site!
We’ll monitor your site for web server problems and back it up whenever changes are made. Viruses and spyware are easy to spread, so we’ll monitor your site for signs of danger on your behalf.
CONTRACTS? NO, THANKS!
The thing about us is: we aren’t jerks. We have no interest in locking you down with some airtight contract. In fact, we don’t do contracts at all. You can start and stop using Buildicus whenever you want.
Want to cancel and move your site elsewhere? No problem, we’ll export your site and give you a zip file of every piece of code, and every image you use. Your site is your site. You’re free to take it with you if you leave.
