Sometimes my boss comes up with good ideas.

Okay, that’s not fair. My boss often comes up with good ideas. Coming up with the idea for Buildicus, hiring me: both brilliant ideas. Her latest one is a game changer, though.

Recognizing that most everyone needs a website, but not everyone speaks English, she was all, “Let’s make our content available in multiple languages.”

See? Pretty damn smart.

Se Habla Español

So now if you go to our website, you will see that both English and Spanish content is available for your multilingual reading pleasure.

You can toggle between languages (if you feeling like being a bilingual showoff) by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the flag at the top left of the site, as seen below (click to enlarge).

Buildicus.com content is now available in both English and Spanish.

And!

My blog posts, which offer the new website owner tips on generating website traffic, are also available in both English and Spanish. Poor Lissie, who is our translator, has the unhappy job of translating my inane ramblings and outright abuse of the English language into Spanish. Fun fact: there is no Spanish equivalent for “hella.” Another fun fact: Lissie hates me.

And Next: The World

Spanish is just the beginning. Soon our website content, including my blog posts, will be available in various other languages, which I will announce as it happens.

Once we’re in international markets, then our plan will really take off. The squirrels with tiny machetes strapped to their paws will be the next step and then —

I’ve said too much.

In the meantime, tell both your English- and Spanish-speaking friends who need a new website or want an existing website redesigned to check us out.

And stay away from any small, woodland creatures you may encounter that are brandishing weaponry. A tip from me to you.
